I have blonde hair, pale skin and dark-ish eyebrows. Because of this, I find it so difficult to get a good eyebrow product that isn’t warm toned. All the blonde eyebrow products seem to have a gingery tone to them, which just doesn’t match my eyebrows or my skin tone. After testing out a fair few products, I have finally found a few brow products that I switch between in my daily routine, that are perfect for those of us with blonde hair and dark eyebrows.
So this is probably one of the ultimate ‘blogger products’, and one that I have actually already reviewed. The formula of the Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade is amazing, gliding on effortlessly to give you the fleekiest of brows. I tend to use mine with an eyeliner brush and it works perfectly fine for me. I can very easily shape and fill in my brows, with them still looking really natural.
I originally picked this shade up in soft brown, but it was way too warm for my liking. But still liking the formula, I went back and ordered it in Medium Brown, which turned out to be the perfect shade. It is one of those shades and products that can be built up to get the required darkness but it is still more cool toned. I usually only wear it very lightly so my brows look quite natural but you can definitely put a darker layer on for a bolder look. It is 100% one of my favourite eyebrow products!
Having an eyeshadow palette on an eyebrow focused blog post might seem a little strange but hear me out! The Naked Basics Eyeshadow palette has a beautiful matte brown shade it in called ‘faint’. It is an amazing eyebrow shade! It is a little bit warmer than the Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade in Medium Brown, but it still gives a good colour against darker eyebrows. The only time this doesn’t work for me is for a few days after I have had my brows tinted as I usually go quite dark so it lasts longer. Actually applying a powder eyeshadow onto your brows just seems to work. It lasts all day and doesn’t seem to fade, so you would never actually know that it is an eyeshadow! Again, applying with an eyeliner brush seems to work really well for me.

I remember when I first tried out the Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil I was liked eeee this isn’t for me! It felt a bit crumbly and didn’t glide as easily as my other brow products. But after another use, I came to love it and realised that it was another perfect eyebrow shade for dark-browed blondes!
This shade again is still a little warm, but it does blend it well with darker eyebrows. I also find that you can vary the darkness of it quite easily as the tip of the pencil is well shaped making it easy to get a good arch. There is also a little spooly on the end to help you blend it after applying. What I normally do is draw on my brows quite dark, then brush over them with the spooly which really blends it in well.
I love that Benefit re-released a lot of their eyebrow range featuring more shades. Before there were just two I think but now they have three, which makes it much easier to match against your eyebrow shade. I have Benefit Gimme Brow in shade 3 which seems to be the perfect match for my darker eyebrows. I think what is good about this product in general is that you can’t really get the wrong colour as it brushes over the top of your eyebrows and naturally blends.
This is one of my all time favourite eyebrow products as it gives a natural look and can be used on its own or over the top of another brow product to set your eyebrows in place. As my eyebrows are a little gappy at the moment, I have been using either my Naked Basics palette or Dip Brow Pomade first, then setting them in place with Gimme Brow. It makes for the perfect combo!
