In July I am going away to Italy for ten days and will be exploring Rome, Bologna, Verona and Venice. So obvs I am super excited, but holidays always mean saving. So all my money has been going straight into my savings ready to change into euros. And anything that is left over I have been spending on holiday clothes (of course). So this has lead me onto ‘shopping my stash’. Something I should definitely do more often as I have found some class beauty bits and pieces that I had long forgotten about.
Ok, so these are amazing and I am really annoyed with myself for forgetting I have them! They are literally the creamiest, most perfect eyeshadows that you can literally slap on by themselves, or use as a base to layer up eyeshadow on top. R.s.v.p is a lovely light-bronzey shade that is super metallic. I love using this in the day on its own as it is quite a natural colour but with the enhanced shimmer. Whereas no pressure! is a darker bronze/metallic brown shade that provides a great base for building up a summery smokey eye look with lots of sparkle! These both came in the Benefit World Famous Neutrals Box, that I was given by Hannah at Suitcase and Sandals as a birthday present. So if you are in need of a gift to give a friend, this is peeeerfect!
Despite not really being much of a lipgloss person, I absolutely love the Stila Lip Glazes but I always forget about them! Tbh it isn’t just this product I forget about, it is most of my lip products. I’m always forgetting to put on some kind of lipstick or lip colour of some sort. So when I rediscovered this I was so happy as it is such a summery colour. This bold pink shade comes out in a really subtle shade but still gives your lips that pop of pink. It is quite a sticky gloss but I don’t really care because I love the colour so much!
So after both my favourite perfumes ran out at once (Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream and Dolce by D&G, FYI) I was left looking for a substitute. Then I remembered the Light Blue fragrance I had from Dolce & Gabbana… It is quite a strong and slightly more masculine (but still feminine, does that make sense?!) scent compared to the two floral scents I was previously using, but boy is it good! I would describe it as quite a fresh but musky scent that is still super summery. It is described as having top notes of pear & bergamot, which you can really pick out in the fragrance.
I recently had a huge clear-out so I don’t have too much stuff to rummage through at the moment, but I am still really happy to have rediscovered these three goodies!
Have you shopped your stash recently? What products have you rediscovered?
