I will be the first to admit that I actually find it quite daunting wearing a bodycon dress. It isn’t usually a style I go for as I am still unsure of whether or not I feel comfortable in them. However, sometimes you just have to make the exception and step a little out of your comfort zone!
And so an exception was made for this gorgeous burgundy lace bodycon dress from Tobi. I mean, how could this not be an addition to my wardrobe? As I don’t tend to go for bodycon styles, this dress is completely different to anything I already own, which is why I was happy to make room for it in my wardrobe.
There is one reason in particular why I love this dress so much, and that reason being it is an all year round winner. In winter you can wear it with a pair of heeled boots, tights and leather jacket as I have done here. I feel like it pairs really well with a leather jacket, as you can still keep the dressy elements of it. Plus heeled boots are always a winner for me as they are just so damn comfortable!
Then when summer comes around, can you imagine this gorgeous burgundy paired with a glowy tan and some really nice strappy heels (which I know I won’t be able to walk in, but the outfit will still look super pretty). The sheer lace back design makes it a really beautiful dress, that is just that little bit different to your standard bodycon dress. I know it isn’t the kind of dress that would come to mind straight away when you think of summer, but as English summers are fairly unpredictable, the long sleeves make it a good option for a colder night out.
