My boyfriend and I have finally booked a holiday! I have been wanting to go away for so long and was beginning to think that this was the year that I didn’t have anything to look forward to… We eventually got round to booking a holiday though and I can’t be happier! We will be going to Lindos in Rhodes, which is the most beautiful place. We went there a couple of years ago and both really loved it.
When it comes to packing for holidays I always love doing it because it gets me really excited, however I am so rubbish at it! I always end up overpacking and taking loads of things I never end up wearing. I love packing loads of pairs of shoes so thought a good list of the essential pairs to take on holiday would be useful! Shoetique has hundreds of pairs of shoes that would be great to take on holiday. I had such a fun time browsing through all their products to come up with the top five to take on holiday.
1. A pair of comfortable shoes for walking in
Keds or Toms are perfect for taking on holiday as they are good if you are planning to go check out the scenary and want some comfortable shoes. They are also slip ons which makes them easy to get on and off in the hotter weather. I love these crochet Toms as they look quite airy and perfect for wearing on holiday.
Flip-flops are always an essential for holiday. I have never gone away without packing a pair! I really want to get a pair of Havaianas because they look so comfortable and long lasting. This pink and blue pair are nice and bright and are great for wearing to the beach.
3. Pretty sandals
Perfect for wearing in the evening, these bright Joules sandals will look great with a tan. The toe post strap and buckle to the side keeps them simple, while the bright neon coral colour makes them stand out and give any outfit a pop of colour. They also have these sandals in neon yellow which stands out even more! I love the brightness of both colours.
4. A pair of heels
I don’t usually tend to take heels on holiday but I saw this pair and thought they looked quite like sandals. The block heel makes them easy to walk in as it isn’t too high. I think these would be perfect in the evening if you are going out for dinner or drinks. They aren’t too over the top and I think they would fit perfectly in a suitcase as they are not too bulky.
