Last weekend I enjoyed a lovely little seaside break with my boyfriend and his family. We stayed in Aldeburgh- the first time I had ever visited! I had very high hopes for it after being told by numerous friends of how lovely it is. I must admit, I have been left wanting to go back again!
One of the things I was most looking forward to was trying the famous fish and chips from Aldeburgh Fish & Chips shop. It is safe to say that they were much welcomed after a long drive on Friday night, and did not disappoint! We spent the weekend exploring Aldeburgh and all its little quirks. I really loved my stay there and cannot wait to visit again!
I took quite a few pictures so thought I would share them on here. It snowed while we were there so there was some really pretty sights to be captured – so be warned that this is a very picture heavy post!
On the way home we stopped off at Snape Maltings. About 5 miles outside of Aldeburgh there is a small village know as Snape. The Maltings was an 19th century industrial place that existed to malt barley. It now consists of lots of little galleries, a farm shop and craft shops. It honestly is a really cute little place that I really recommend visiting if you are in the area!
Have you ever been to Aldeburgh?
