I have been meaning to do a review of the Kissed By Mii Gradual Tan Face Cream for a while now and so I am finally getting round to it. I picked up this fake tan back when I went to my local beauty salon, Beauty Box, for their Christmas Anniversary Event. I am such a pale person so I like to prep ready for summer by giving myself a little starter tan so this little tube sounded perfect for the job!
The tan is from the brand Mii, under the Gerrard Int. group who also supply Jessica Nail products in the UK. Kissed by Mii is their new tanning range available in salons only. It used marine extracts such as coral seaweed and coastal flowers to help keep you skin soft, while gently boosting the colour.
The cream itself is such-hydrating so you can use it daily to help build up a natural glow. When I cam round to using it, I was recommended to put it on my face and my arms. I applied it just before I went to bed. When I woke up I found that my arms looked a lovely natural colour as the tan matches up to how dark you normally go in the sun. I didn’t find any streaks so obvs was very happy! Unfortunately when it came to my face I could not see a difference at all. So I gave it another go the next night and still not much difference. I am not ready to give up on the tan just yet so I’m going to try applying it regularly and see what happens. The tan takes about 4-6 hours to start developing so I might try using it in the day so that I don’t end up wiping it all on my pillow!
Overall I do really like the idea of this tan as it tans to your natural colour. It worked really well on my arms but not so much on my face so I am just going to keep trying and hope that it works for me in the end!
