Sensitive teeth are the worst. Just thinking about that sharp, shooting pain you get when you drink a cold drink, makes me want to curl up! I have always had the odd occasion when I get horribly sensitive teeth, so was willing to try any product that could help.
Quite a few years ago I had to have a filling in one of my molars. That was all fine and it caused me no pain. But it wasn’t until it came to having the filling replaced that I started to get a lot of issues with the sensitivity of the tooth. It constantly ached because it was so sensitive to absolutely everything, and it got so bad that I had the filling replaced again as my dentist told me it was my tooth reacting badly to the new filling. Once I had it changed for the second time, the pain wasn’t as bad, but it was still there.
Since then I have been trying a few different products to try and stop the pain, but none seem to have worked very well, until I tried a couple of products from the Sensodyne Pronamel range. Ive been using the Sensodyne Pronamel Toothpaste* and mouthwash* for a few weeks now and the results have been incredible. I haven’t had any issues with my filling and the sensitivity of my teeth has been majorly reduced.
The Pronamel range helps protect the enamel of your teeth from damage that can be caused by acids in your everyday diet. When you have a healthy enamel it will look white, but overtime acidic food and drink can slowly erode the enamel, showing yellow dentine underneath. So if your teeth are looking slightly yellow, it is possibly a sign that your enamel is weakened.
The unique formula in this range helps minerals go deep into the enamel surface and strengthen any areas that may have been weakened. This will make it much healthier and better protected from the damage of everyday acids, helping you maintain a healthier smile!
Although I can’t comment on the colour of my teeth (I’m not too sure if they look whiter or not), I can definitely say that I am impressed with this range. The toothpaste has been doing a great job of keeping my mouth feeling fresh and my teeth not aching from sensitivity. I also really love the mouthwash as it has a different texture to others I have tried in the past. It is slightly thicker than a normal mouthwash, which gives it a bit of a gel-like texture. I quite like this though as you can really feel it when you swish it round your mouth.
This range is something I will definitely continue to use, especially as I am interested in seeing if I get any results from the gentle whitening techniques used. I feel like even after using it for almost four weeks, it will still need a little more time before I can see any changes in the whiteness of my teeth. I fyou are interested in trying this range out for yourself, you can pick up the Sensodyne Pronamel Toothpaste and Mouthwash at Superdrug.
Have you ever tried any of the Sensodyne Pronamel products?
