So surprisingly I’ve only ever tried one thing from Makeup Revolution before and that was one of their lipsticks. Other than that I haven’t tried any of their other products. I always hear so many beauty bloggers raving about their products, stating that there are so many dupes, so I am now happy to announce that I have a few of their amazing products to add to my makeup drawer…
I have wanted to try a colour corrector palette for so long, so I’m really excited to finally own one! The Makeup Revolution Ultra Base Corrector Palette contains a pink, lavender, green, orange, peach, white, cream and dark beige. I have to admit I have no idea as of yet, what each colour is used for but I am definitely going to be looking up one of those face guides. It looks quite scary at first but I think with a bit of blending, this palette will come in very useful. I have only swatched each shade so far and have been very impressed with how creamy they are.
I actually already have the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade and don’t get me wrong, I do like it but it is a little pricey. So I thought I would give the Makeup Revolution one a go to see how much of a dupe it really is (blog post coming soon!). I went for the medium brown shade as being a blonde but with dark brows, I always go for the darker eyebrow shades. My ABH one is also medium brown and so far they seem the perfect match colour-wise.
Matte lip looks are all over the place at the moment, and I have to say, I do love them. I don’t actually own any nude liquid lipsticks so I knew I had to give this one a go. The shade Echelon is such a wearable shade too! I am definitely going to be wearing this on a daily basis. I think I just need to work on my lip liner application skills first…
Oh my goodness is this not just the prettiest blush palette you have ever laid your eyes on?! I mean, just look at those marble shimmery shades of pure goodness! Strangely the palette also comes with a nice matte bronze shade, but I’m not complaining as it seems to be the perfect fit to contour my pale skin. The other shades all have quite a bit of shimmer in them so they definitely make for good highlighters too.
New brushes are always a good idea, and how could I not want this beautiful collection with their gorgeous rose gold detailing?! Honestly, for £20 this brush set is pretty good! You get such a range of brushes – like every brush you could ever need. And my god, they are soft. I find myself just stroking my face with each one because they are just so fluffy and nice. I can definitely see myself using all of these – including the sponge.
Ok, so I have definitely saved the best ’til last. This absolutely gorgeous highlighter is the most incredible glowy product I have ever come across. It is so shimmery and glowy, that it completely suits its name of ‘unicorn elixir’. I am going to be mixing this in with my foundation, body lotion, just everything basically. It is absolutely gorgeous!
So as you can see, I have been absolutely spoilt by the lovely people at TAM Beauty. I am so excited to get stuck into each of these products and have got a lot of content planned featuring these products, so be sure to keep an eye out.
