Pink is probably one of my favourite shades of makeup to inject a pop of colour into my look. It shakes things up a bit from my normal nude shades and gives a bit of life back into my face… especially when my skin is looking super dull from this awful winter weather!
So who doesn’t love a barbie pink lip?! Admittedly I never used to really wear glossy lip products as I am definitely more of a matte kinda gal, but these Too Faced Latex Liquified lipsticks have something about their formula that I absolutely love. Yes, it is still slightly sticky, but as it is quite a thick consistency, which is totally different to any other lipgloss I have used in the past. Not only are they highly pigmented, but they actually feel so nice on my lips – not overly sticky in the slightest. I would say the texture is more tacky.
I think the applicator makes it easy to get an even finish across your lips. It also gives such high levels of shine, making your overall makeup that little bit extra. So you can see why I love these! I’m so impressed with how pigmented they are, considering it’s basically a heavyweight liquid lipgloss.
The only difficulty I have been having is that I recently got clear braces (like Invisalign) and this lipstick really sticks to them. I end up looking like I have pink teeth so they are definitely best worn without the braces! I tested them without and they were much better at not marking my teeth.
This was probably my first ever perfume. In fact, not it 100% was as I remember it was a present from my granny. I love how scents can have such a huge attachment to memories, so I am sure you can understand why I find this one so special.
Top: Citruses, Apple Blossom,

Overall it is a really fresh, floral scent that is lovely and light – perfect for daytime wear. Admittedly, if you are going into specifics, it probably isn’t classified as a “winter perfume”, but I don’t pay attention to that as I just wear whichever fragrances take my fancy on the day. If you aren’t too fussed about it being more of a Spring associated scent, then this floral beauty is a gorgeous perfume to try. It is one of those lovely scents that isn’t overly sweet, so it doesn’t come across as really “young”.
This is most definitely my go-to pink lipstick for when I’m not looking for a shine or a matte finish, this is the one. The satin formula effortlessly glides on and provides a bright pop of pink. As it is a blue-toned pink I feel like it suits my pale skin and works well with most makeup looks. It is definitely quite a versatile shade as it is really good for both day and night wear. I’ve worn this as it is in the daytime and with a nude/slightly smokey eye look in the evening, and it suited both really well.
The satin texture makes it slightly creamier in texture compared to any matte shades, but it still does leave my lips a little dry. Therefore I definitely recommend giving your lips a good scrub before applying. This will also help the colour last much longer.
Not quite the pop of pink compared to the two lip products, but still a beautiful product overall. This is my favourite day-time blush to use. It gives such a lovely light pink finish to it, that it doesn’t overly blush your cheeks. It just gives a really natural finish, making it perfect for those of you with very pale skin like me. I’m sure you will know how difficult it can be to find a natural looking blush that doesn’t make you look like a clown! But with this blush, you can build up such a beautiful hint of subtle colour with this blush, and the colour lasts for a good few hours before needing to be topped up.
What are your favourite pink beauty picks at the moment?
