Ok so I might be 24 now, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want a stocking anymore! Little stocking filler gifts often make the best presents as you can get some really cute little things. Chocolate is usually one of the main stocking fillers used, but if you want some easy ideas for something a little different that will be perfect for not only stockings but also secret Santa gifts or something small for your friends, keep on reading!
You know those super cute online stores that sell a mix of things that would all make perfect gifts? Well, A Gift from the Gods is one of those places. Their online store is filled with everything from adorable pyjamas and pieces of jewellery to stationery and makeup bags. So basically it is a blogger’s dream shop! I have picked out a few of my fave pieces that I think would make excellent gifts for your loved ones.
So who doesn’t love getting stationery as a gift? I absolutely love it all! And what’s more, it only helps me get myself more organised, which I’m guessing will be the same with most others. After all, you can never have too many notepads!
The Weekly Desk Planner* at only £7.50, is a brilliant stocking filler. It is really useful and also so pretty! I know that this is going to come in so handy for my desk at work. I can be quite forgetful if I don’t jot things down, so I think having a weekly planner is a great way to stay on top of all the important tasks I need to get done. This would mean it could also be a good secret Santa gift for a work colleague?!
Something a little more expensive but really lovely is this Hopes Daily Planner*. Priced at £12, it is a really cute planner that can be used to plan all your daily activities. It is a really good size to keep in your handbag, so maybe if you know someone who is completely disorganised, this would be a great gift for them! The gold embossed ‘Hopes’ design printed on the front is a really simple but beautiful touch.
If you are looking for a good stocking filler/small gift for a beauty blogger then a makeup bag is going to be a very useful gift! A Gift from the Gods has a huge selection of beautiful makeup bags that are really good sizes – as in you could comfortably fit both makeup brushes and your makeup in a bag.
The Curved Makeup Bag* (£12) comes in white, pink, aqua and navy blue, with each having a slightly different design. The outer layer is water resistant so you can easily wipe off any makeup spillages. The curved design opens up wide ready to fill with all your favourite pieces of makeup. The zipper has a really cute design with the branding shown on it.
The Pink Square Makeup Bag* (£10) is slightly bigger than the navy bag because of the shape. This one is probably slightly better for holding makeup brushes too as the bristles won’t get too squashed. It is a great makeup bag for travelling with as you can fit so much inside.
You can’t go wrong with jewellery as a gift. Who doesn’t like receiving it as a gift?! A Gift from the Gods has a huge selection of beautiful pieces that are slightly different to your classic pendants and bangles. Instead they have a lovely range of leather and friendship style bracelets, included some gorgeous engraved bangles.
The Soft Leather Rope Bracelet* (£15) is in this gorgeous dusty metallic pink – a colour that is definitely in this season! I love the plaited style of it as it looks really beautiful layered up with other bracelets. The little silver charm with the branding on it makes it look really expensive, so it is definitely a surprise that it is only £15!
For those that don’t wear leather, the tassle charm bracelets in white* and pink* (£10) would be a great stocking filler. I am absolutely loving the tassle feature on them as of course, everyone is loving tassle accessories right now! They are gorgeous friendship bracelets that would make really thoughtful gifts.
For the little gifts that you want to give as stocking fillers, I’ve got a few lovely ideas that are going to be really well-received. Plus all these little gifts are great for those interested in beauty and could fill those gorgeous makeup bags I’ve featured above!
Makeup sponges are always a good shout for a gift as they are just so useful. They have to be replaced fairly often so getting new ones is always handy. These Studio sponges are £3.99 from Superdrug (currently on offer for £2.65).
Fragrance Direct has such a massive range of nail polishes. I always love the O.P.I polishes as they are such good quality and usually last much longer without getting chipped. Plus they are now only £3.49, which is a great saving of £8.46! Then when you are ready to remove your nail polish, you can use nailswipe* (£2.60). This is such a good invention as you just brush it onto your nail polish, leave it for a few seconds and then just wipe off your nail polish. Which means that your fingers don’t get dried out from the harsh chemicals which are often used in nail polish removers. Nailswipe is completely acetone free so it uses 90% less solvent then other nail polish removers.
Ok so these eyeshadow palettes from Primark are a mere £2.50 and they are so great! Yes there is a little bit of fallout, but the colour builds up so beautifully and you can also get a great range of shades. When you are wearing them you just wouldn’t realise that they are Primark at all. For £2.50 you can’t really go wrong – so you can also see why these would make such good stocking fillers!
Back to Fragrance Direct, these Calvin Klein One Shine Lipsticks are such a bargain at £3.95 down from £16. The shades aren’t too easy to work out so I would recommend searching on Google for a few swatches to find out what the colours really look like. But other than that, these lipsticks are so beautiful in texture and in packaging.
I hope that this gift guide can give you some helpful suggestions for stocking filler/secret Santa ideas. I would definitely recommend having a look through the A Gift from the Gods website as there are so many good gift ideas on there.
