Usually, A/W is an annoying time for me as I find it so difficult to wear an outfit that doesn’t involve jeans. I hate being an outfit repeater but it seems that jeans are the easiest item of clothing to reach for when you are feeling totally uninspired. But recently with the help of a few key purchases, I have managed to up my wardrobe game and get a little bit more adventurous with my outfit choices. And I mean, hopefully, my post will also give you a bit of inspo for some Christmas gift ideas for her*.
This jumper has been an absolute saviour in this freezing weather! As it is so oversized, it just makes it extra cosy. I have seen quite a few jumpers around with this pearl studded detail added to them, and I really like it. I mean, without it, it would be such a boring grey jumper! The embellished detail makes it a lot funkier.
These Knee High Boots are an absolutely essential for this time of year. Not only do they look absolutely adorable paired with a cute tea dress, but they also look fab with a pair of jeans. I didn’t think I would actually be able to pull them off before, but I really love them! And what’s more, they are surprisingly warm to wear!
My work Christmas do was last Friday and I was fretting so much about what to wear. I’m really self-conscious of my arms so I was keen to find something long sleeved but it turned out to be such a nightmare! Everything I liked was velvet and I have this thing about velvet where I really can’t touch it… So I kept looking and eventually came across this gorgeous wrap dress from Topshop. It is such a classic and understated style and looks really classy on. I did have to pin it in place to stop it being so low on me, but I really loved wearing it with my favourite patent boots.
If you want cosy, then this is the kind of jumper you need to get. Chenille is just so soft and warm! I was instantly drawn to this jumper because of the gorgeous dusty light pink. I love dusty pinks so much and wanted to add more of it to my wardrobe, so knew this jumper would be perfect. It is slightly cropped too, so looks great with a pair of high-waisted jeans.
What are your top picks for A/W?
