Beauty boxes are honestly one of my favourite ways to discover new products – and also start hoarding all the minis ready for travelling. They are such a great way to try out new brands, products and more, in a box that has been specifically curated for a season or trend.
The Latest in Beauty Spring 2019 Beauty Heroes box landed on my doorstep and I was so excited to delve on in and discover what lovely products had been included in this selection.
The box contains everything you could need to give your beauty routine a little shake-up, ready for the new season. I am so ready for Spring, so was very happy to try out some of the products in this box to give me a little more glow.
These tiny Molton Brown body washes are perfect for travelling. I always save them for my next holiday as they are a nice little luxury to take away. The scent of this one is particularly nice containing jasmine and rose. It isn’t completely overpowering but instead just a nice musky scent.
I will be honest, little perfumes like this aren’t my favourite to receive in a beauty box but I will let these ones off as they are presented so beautifully. The three scents are inspired by bountiful, beautiful and blossoming floral bouquets.
I am a huge fan of body butter, as recently I have been making more of a conscious effort to apply it every night before bed. The winter air has made my skin very dry! So when I run out of my current one, I will definitely be reaching for this. It doesn’t have the strongest of scents, but I don’t really mind that as the texture is spot on, and I know it will do the job for my dry skin.
I’ve tried a couple of Nuxe products in the past and did really enjoy them, so I’m hoping this one lives up to the standards too! Filled with hyaluronic acid and passionflower, the formula will apparently leave your skin looking luminous and younger.
This is one of the skincare products in the box, that I probably won’t use. I’m really loyal to my current skincare brand Environ, so don’t like to mix it up with other products. However, I have to admit this face serum does sound really lovely – as long as it lives up to its claims of being absorbed quickly into the skin. Nothing worse than feeling like you have a super greasy face just after cleansing.
So this is one of the first products in the box that I tried and quite honestly I absolutely love it. It has the sweetest of scents which reminds me of something from my childhood, which I can’t quite pinpoint yet. Multi-purpose balms are my favourite as you will just keep finding great uses for them. I have been loving using this as a
I have wanted to try some of the Vita Liberata fake tan for ages so was extremely happy to see a full sized tube of this in the box! You can use this on both the face and body – though not sure my face would get on well with this… we shall see!
I did a little swatch of this on my hand and love it already. It is such a gorgeous, glowy product that can be used either as a primer, mixed with moisturiser/foundation of on top of makeup. I can see myself using this as a subtle highlighter on days where I don’t want to wear a lot of makeup, and just want a natural glow.
So last night I washed my hair and thought I would give it a go. I used 8 pumps of this as recommended for long hair and was left pleasantly impressed with the lack of frizz in my hair. After the winter, my hair has struggled to go more curly than frizzy, but when using this it seems to help massively. I will keep you updated as I continue to use it!
Nailberry polishes are a dream. Not only are they super patent when they dry, but the range of shades is amazing. I absolutely love this kind of pinky-mauve shade as I have nothing else like it in my current collection. I can tell this will be getting a lot of use particularly for my up and coming holidays…
This minature is going to make a perfect travel sized handcream. With altai sea-buckthorn and amaranth oil, it deeply moisturisers and nourishes hands. Sounds like a winner to me?!
Vanilla is one of my all-time favourite scents, and I have yet to try anything from the Sports FX beauty range, so I am very happy to give this a go. Dry shampoo is a regular in my beauty routine so I am hoping that this is good and doesn’t leave me with lots of grey hair!
Again I probably won’t use this skincare product, but it does sound like a good one! Products with hyaluronic acid are always a good choice as you know they are going to be super hydrating on the skin and hopefully give your skin a bit of a plump.
I actually received a miniature of this product in a previous Latest in Beauty Box and have been using it regularly. I love using it to spray my beauty blender before I blend out my foundation. The toner is really refreshing and soothing with the rose water-based formula.
If you know me, I love a good
You know what, I am actually so impressed with this box. For just £28 you get such a variety of products including 10 full sizes. Apart from the skincare bits, I know I will get full use out of all of these. I’m particularly excited to try the fake tan…
