Makeup in the mornings can be an absolute nightmare, especially when you would rather be spending that extra time in bed. So when I found out about Eye Majic’s Instant Eyeshadow*, I was absolutely intrigued. I love anything that saves me time.
How to use Eye Majic Instant Eyeshadow
Inside each box you get 5 pairs of applicators, which are each one use. To apply, you close your eye and gently press the applicator onto the eyelid for a few seconds. They use special heat technology which helps the product transfer. Then, you gently but firmly slide the applicator off. And voila!
But does it actually work?
Well, I have to admit that my first time using these the eyeshadow definitely couldn’t have been left as it was. The colour was just a bit blocky and definitely needed blending. So I just used a fluffy brush to soften some of the colours and harsh edges, and it actually left me with a really nice natural eyeshadow look.

With each time I use these I get a little better but I am finding that they do just need a little refinement with a brush.
My thoughts
Upon first use I was dubious, but as I said before, with each application I get slightly better at using them. It all comes down to the main thing of time-saving, and for me, these definitely do that. They save me so much time not having to think of an eyeshadow look and then spend 15 minutes trying to blend the colours. The Eye Majic Instant Eyeshadows take probably around three minutes to achieve an easy eyeshadow look - so I am very happy.
If you’re not one for putting together an eye makeup look, and not very confident blending shades together, I would highly recommend these. They are quick and very convenient - making them great for times when you are in a rush or just can’t be bothered!
They are priced at £5.99 currently on Amazon, and come in an absolutely huge range of shades. You can literally get colours to match any look.
*I was kindly gifted these but all thoughts are my own.
