I am loving the Simple skincare range at the moment and have been incorporating it in to my everyday skincare routine. I thought I would take you through a few of my favourite products of theirs which I feel do not get enough mentions as they should! The whole range is great for your skin as you know for a fact that when using one of their products you won’t be putting anything harmful on your face. I think sometimes we forget about the ingredients behind a product and just go ahead using it. I love Simple because I know that the only thing it is going to do for my skin is help it. There is no risk of a reaction as the products are so gentle.
Simple Kind to Eyes Eye Make-up Remover Pads £3.99
I know that many people don’t agree with using face wipes to remove make-up, as they can be damaging to your eyes. However, these eye make-up remover pads from simple are just so soft. They don’t contain alcohol so won’t dry out your skin- making them perfect for anyone with dry skin. I have to admit they aren’t the best for removing waterproof mascara but to be honest I rarely wear waterproof mascara so it isn’t really a problem for me. They take away my normal eye make-up with ease. The size of the little packet makes them perfect for travelling to as they can fit in your make-up bag. I just think these are brilliant. The only down side is that they are about the same price as normal face wipes but you do get 30 in a pack which is a decent amount.
Simple Kind to Eyes Soothing Eye Balm £3.99
This is my favourite product out of the lot. I cannot rave about it enough! I basically apply this both morning and evening and it completely reduces the puffiness around my eyes. My boyfriend goes to me the other day “Where are the bags under your eyes? You look weird without them”. Not quite sure whether to take that as a compliment or insult but either way it shows how well this product work! Like it says in the name, it is so soothing on your eyes. I found that it started working at reducing the bags under my eyes in just a couple of days. I have such bad bags as well so this is an amazing miracle product!
Simple Kind to Skin Moisturising Facial Wash £1.28
I keep this face wash in my shower so I can use it every morning as it makes it a lot easier! The texture of this is quite strange before you rub it together and make it foam. It has quite a thick consistency which I definitely suggest you rub between your hands to make it foam, before applying it to your face. I do really love it though. As it is moisturising, it doesn’t leave you feeling like you have a super dry, tight face once you have used it. You could probably get away with not moisturising after but I like to anyway. I just find this product super nice on my skin and it cleans it really well.
Simple Kind to Skin Vital Vitamin Night Cream £5.99
I love the texture of this night cream. This is going to sound completely mad but I would describe it as a light but thick and creamy moisturiser. It doesn’t sit on the top of the skin but instead soaks right in really quickly which I love! I hate going to bed with a really greasy face because the night moisturiser I have used is super, super thick. This is the perfect night cream for me and I have been using it every evening. I just think that for my skin type (combination), it works really well and leaves me with lovely soft skin.
So those are all of my favourites from Simple! I hope this helps if you are ever in Boots or Superdrug and unsure of what to pick up.
