This was one of the products featured in my USA Beauty Haul. I had been wanting to get my hands on a roller ball perfume for so long as I think they are so handy for keeping in your handbag. It is such a shame you can’t get these anywhere in England. I have no idea why this is the case…
I think Prada Candy was released back in 2011 and I am gutted I didn’t find out about it until now! It has become one of my absolute favourite perfumes EVER. I have such mixed taste when it comes to perfumes. Sometimes I love musky scents, while other times I am loving super sweet perfumes. This one follows on as a really sweet smelling perfume, as suggested by the name. It is described by Prada as being a fragrance with musk, benzoin and Caramel, providing a sweetly addictive scent. I really have to agree. The scent is very sweet but not overly that it becomes too much. It is probably more suited to being an ‘evening perfume’ but I love it too much that I have to wear it all day, everyday!
In terms of its lasting powers, I found it to last a really reasonable amount of time. After applying it at the beginning of the day, I could still smell it very faintly by the end. With it being a rollerball I was worried it wouldn’t last very long because not as much of the perfume comes out compared to a spray bottle. But I have actually found the rollerball to be really effective. I have really liked being able to use it on my wrists as it means you don’t lose as much when you spray it.
This is the perfect perfume for anyone looking for something with a really feminine scent. I know that it may not be to everyones taste as it is a very sweet scent, but in my opinion, you can’t get enough of it! I have never found it to be an overpowering scent and know that I will be buying the full size bottle when my rollerball runs out.
