When it comes to getting a new perfume, I always find there are two issues. One, it is hard to settle on a fragrance when there are literally so many to choose from. And two, perfume can be really expensive so you definitely need to make sure you’re choosing the right one.
That’s why the Fragrance Shop’s Scent Addict Subscription Service* is so handy. Each month you can choose a new fragrance to be delivered to your door. The first month you receive your 8ml in an atomiser which is super handy for travelling. Then each month after the 8ml refill will arrive in the perfume of your choice.
The subscription service is such a good idea for those of you that want to try out a different fragrance but don’t want to commit to buying a full bottle. Or if you don’t like sticking to a fragrance, you can mix it up with a new perfume each month.

The service costs £12 per month but this cost can be redeemed against a full size bottle of perfume. So if you like a fragrance you have selected to trial, you can then go ahead and buy the full size with your £12 discount - amazing!
My Scent Addict Three-Month Trial
For my three-month trial I selected three different perfumes and loved them all. I found the atomiser was really great for taking on holiday and loved that each month I could just refill it with a new perfume. The fragrances I chose were:
Gucci Guilty for her
This perfume was divine. It is kind of in between a floral and musky scent - like a nice mix of the two. It is a fairly strong scent, so I kept this one for evening wear.
Top notes: Mandora, Pink Pepper
Heart notes: Lilac
Base notes: Patchouli
Paco Rabanne Lady Million
Admittedly I have already tried this perfume before but ran out a while back, and absolutely love the scent so wanted to try it again. The scent is perfect for wearing both day and night, and also isn’t overly sweet but is kind of more of a fruity scent.
Top notes: Bitter Orange, Raspberry
Heart notes: Jasmine, Orange Flower, Neroli
Base notes: Honey, Patchouli, Amber
Mugler Alien
Out of the three perfumes I would say that this is the strongest and probably most distinct scent, which makes it perfect as an evening scent. Though if you were to wear it in the day, it was last all day. It’s quite a rich and woody scent, which is different to other perfumes I normally wear - but I love it!
Top notes: Sambac Jasmine
Heart notes: Cashmere, Wood
Base notes: White Amber
This subscription service is such a good idea, as like I say it is perfect for helping you choose which perfume you want to invest in and just for trying different ones out. You would also be surprised at just how long the 8ml refills last!
*I was kindly gifted a three-month trial of this perfume subscription service but all thoughts are my own.
