When it comes to celebrity perfumes I am always a bit meh about them. I never really expect them to be that great in terms of the scent and staying power. The last thing I expected was to actually love one of Britney Spears’ perfumes! Midnight Fantasy just has the most beautiful scent so I thought it was only fair to give it a review on here.
First of all, the bottle itself is actually quite pretty. I really like round perfume bottles as I think they stand out more on my dressing table and just look nicer in general. It has these little blue crystals going all the way round it, without being tacky. The dark blue colour is beautiful and really reflects the scent- if that is even possible!
The scent is really sweet and fruity and will stay with you all day long. I literally can’t get enough of it! It is said to have top notes of black cherries, framboise and exotic plum with middle notes of orchid, freesia flirts and velvet iris. Finally with base notes of musk, amber and vanilla leaves. As I am absolutely rubbish at describing scents I hope that gives you more of an idea of how it smells! I definitely agree with the fruit cherry top notes. It is a really lovely scent without being too overpowering and it is definitely one that is essential for summer! I know this is probably meant to be more of an evening scent but I still wear it in the day. The scent is so lovely and I don’t feel like it is too much of an evening scent anyway.
Considering how much I love this perfume, and how amazing it really is, you would expect it to be quite expensive right? Well how about I tell you it is currently just £19.99 on Fragrance Direct would you believe?! For Eau De Parfum that is such an amazing price.
